It's very sturdy and nicer than anything I could find in the furniture store for the price. I actually put the TV on the console, not on the wall like the picture. The console is nice and high, which makes it easy to see the TV from anywhere in the room. Shipping was very quick. I was called to schedule a delivery time in less than a week and had it delivered a few days later. I'd highly recommend the console to anyone. The lift is incredibly well-made and probably a good $1,000 less than anything half as nice I could find out there. White glove delivery was an added bonus. I am always wary of buying bigger ticket items online because the pictures always seem to look better than the product you get. This was definitely not the case with this console. I highly recommend it, particularly if you have young children who like to help themselves to anything at eye level. The doors are sturdy and can be clamped or tied together easily if needed.
